For a drug addict or alcoholic relapse is a part of recovery. If a person can put down their drug of choice once and never again picked it up. Than this person was never truly an addict to begin with. That's why it's called addiction.
Whitney will have relapses, she may or may not be going through one right now, but is quite possible. More like probable Many addicts are triggered back into activation by pressure and stress. And judging by her so called come back, or better yet failure in her attempts to come back as the old Whitney Houston we all fell in love with so many years ago. it would be easy for her to fall back into her old destructive behaviors.
As I assumed and told many people that I doubted Whitney would ever again reach the pinnacle of her old self, well it seems that my assumptions were correct.

First of all since most of your azzes don't know what real singing is hoe can you comment on Whitney's singing. Whitney's voice is deeper that can come from smoking cigarettes as well. She can still sing. The more she sings the better she will get because she has not sang in over 5 years. Most of you who make stupid comments should buy your broke behinds a clue.
@artofwar - Relapse is NOT a requirement for getting clean. EVERYONE that is trying to stay clean does not relapse. Some ppl though must go through it in order to get clean, but it is NOT a requirement for sobriety. Unfortunately, it seems that Whitney hasn't finished yet. Not a monumentous mistake that no one else has done, but still needs to be addressed. And, acknowledging she still has a ways to go is not condemning her, just stating the obvious. If you want to support and love Whitney you cannot stick your head in the sand. Unfortunately, MTO was right on in this case :-(
