We don't know what the political dynamics will be in 2012. If the jobless rate is still high, what will matter more than experience is whether someone is offering better solutions for getting companies to hire and reducing our debt. Lets not forget that Obama did not run long after he was elected to his first national office, experience doesn't necessarily matter when the country is seen as being on the wrong track.
