: MediaTakeOut.com has some sad news to report. Tisha Taylor Murphy, the wife of comedian and actor Charlie Murphy reportedly passed away last night in the couple's home in New Jersey.
According to our good friends over at the Humor Mill Magazine blog, Tisha had been battling cancer for over a year. And last night, she died in her sleep. The couple married on August 12, 1997 and they have three children: daughter Eva, and son Xavier. Charlie also has another son from a previous relationship.
We understand that Tisha was not only a BEAUTIFUL person, but a loving wife and a great mom. She'll truly be missed.
We want to send out our deepest condolences to the Murphy family.
So sad and they were a beautiful family. That cancer is no joke! And i cant believe theyre trying to pass this new crap to get paps and mams every two and three years! Hell no ladies dont go for it! my condolences to the family. what type of cancer did she have? it must have been pretty aggressive to have been battled for a year. was she diagnosed late? reason I am asking is that I had family member that was misdiagnosed for a while then finally diagnosed at stage four and they went through treatment for seven months then died. cancer is a horrific disease.
This is very sad news. I don't know the feeling of loosing a wife but I lost my girlfriend a few years ago and it really does hurt and depression takes over. I hope he stays strong for the children. I hate to address ignorance but iBettybitter, go to hell with all that bullshit you're talking. From the way you're talking you probably ain't [EXPLETIVE] that's why you don't have anyone.

CANCER IS SUCH A HORRIBLE DISEASE, I LOST MY DAD AT 49 YRS OLD AND IT WAS HARD TO DEAL WITH SO I CAN JUST IMAGINE HOW THEY FEEL. THEY HAVE LITTLE CHILDREN WHO WILL SURELY HAVE A HARD TIME UNDERSTANDING THAT THEIR MOM IS NO LONGER AROUND.

It's Heartbreaking. As a parent, I know she probably wanted to hold on for her kids, I'm so sad. I don't even follow the Murphys, but this is heartbreaking. I will pray long and hard fro her and her family, in black families the loss a women( mom grandma aunties) is always hard, the holiday season will just compound there grief. Just remember, Precious in the sight of the lord is the death of his angels.

I'm not saying all modern medicine is bad, but if you just listen to the side effects & peep out all the class action lawsuits against big pharm out there, you'll see a majority of it is =[

@bezsenny - so true, even so called "bush doctors" are better than some modern medical experts today. Cancer will never ever be cured in a lifetime and if anyone really finds a cure his/her life will def be in danger from these medical vultures today.
