: More NFL baller baby's mama drama!!! MediaTakeOut.com just learned, from our pals over at Page Six, that America’s Next Top Model contestant Nik Pace just gave birth to a son - by NFL baller Braylon Edwards.
According to them, as soon as the baby was born in Atlanta, Braylon went down and filed in court to make sure that he was recognized as the boy's dad.
Sounds like he's doing what he's supposed to, right??? Well not according to Nik and her lawyers. They reportedly REJECTED Braylon's filing and instead SUED for child support in New York. According to them, since NY pays jumpoffs MORE child support that Atlanta, they wanted to make sure that they got their proper due.
Braylon doesn’t think that what they are doing is fair. Here’s what his people are saying, via the NY Post:
Nik's main home is in Georgia, she is registered to vote in Georgia, and she gave birth in Georgia, which is why he immediately asked the courts in Georgia to recognize him as the dad . . .Jumpoffs these days . . .She only moved to New York in November after he was traded to the Jets. He wants to be part of the child's life, but she wouldn't even tell him where or when the child would be born so he could be there. He wants to provide for his son. He has been paying support since the birth.

ATU, in general, many have played the sympathy card. Those who are men admit their faults while seeking out support to make the best of the situation. While others are children who ignore their actions, blame the woman, and seek out sympathizers. Bottom line if a man isn’t ready for children, it’s HIS responsibility in making sure he doesn’t fertilize any eggs. After that egg is fertilized, men have ZERO say-so. That will be determined in the future and whether or not BOTH can get their acts together for the sake of the child. It’s up to him to make sure he bonds with his kid and mother should be there for back up support. By her not divulging the details of the birth make me wonder what went down in the relationship. Technically she’s the one going through childbirth, she has the right to say who can and can’t be in the birthing room.
