Well now Detroit police have confirmed that it was all a hoax.
The police located the AIDS girl, a 23 year old woman named Jackie Brown and have taken her into custody. Once in custody they forced her to take an AIDS test and determined that she was HIV negative.
Police are determining whether to bring her up on charges for causing a health scare.

The woman who caused a stir on the Internet this week with a video in which she says she has infected more than 500 people with HIV told The Detroit News today that she does not have the virus.
“I don’t have AIDS,” Jackie Braxton, 23, said in an interview. “I made the tape because I wanted to raise awareness about AIDS.”
Police picked up Braxton at a college she attends downtown and immediately took her to the city’s health department to be tested for the virus that causes AIDS. The test results are confidential, but Braxton said she does not have HIV.
Braxton said she feels “bad” about making the video that has spread panic among Metro Detroiters and others around the country. But, she said she felt her tape served its purpose when she went to the city’s health department this morning and saw people waiting to get tested for AIDS.
Braxton, who uses the stage name “Fame” and has a 5-year-old daughter, admitted she made the videotape to market her own porn site, which she says she operates with her husband.
Braxton also told The Detroit News she makes porn videos with her husband.
Police do not know yet if criminal charges can be levied against Braxton because they don’t know if she has broken any laws. Failure to disclose to a sex partner that you have HIV/AIDS is a felony.
“We are 100-percent positive it was a hoax,” said Deputy Chief James Tolbert.

Anyone can get it & those who think they can't cause they are to pretty or they only sleep with those who look clean, you know silly crap like that you need to Google it and see some of the faces of people that are living with this illness...not a pretty site, but these are BEAUTIFUL people who didn't deserve this Death Sentence! Charges should be made against her as she did commit a crime. On the other hand she is spreading awareess on an illness that is affecting many and could easily be prevented. As I posted previously, a person wanting to infect many and destroy the world will not confess their intentions. It's a clear message protect yourself & other's (it's not hard) and also know your status.
Perhaps I am missing something. Why is everyone mad at her? The only people who should be mad would be the ones who have been havin anonymous raw sex and don't even remember who with and got scared because it may have been her but they don't know. Still NOT her fault they were the ones not protecting themselves. If you have unprotected sex with random people that's your own stupid fault be accountable instead of trying to blame someone else for YOUR Irresponsible behavior!
