1. We DON'T know if they are really dating...it's just a picture. Blog sites like this do this all the time...take/find pics and add their own stories and the naive believe whatever they see or hear without reason. This same site did the same thing with this actor before (Hill Harper) and linked him with actress Gabrielle Union a few months ago; who is a dear FRIEND of Hill's but for those who don't know him or haven't read is book wouldn't know that. He clearly states in his book "Letters to a Young Sister" about Mediatakeout linking him to Gabrielle and how false the story was.
2. To those who are angry with Hill (mainly to my beautiful sistas) because you feel betrayed because of what you’ve read him say in his book, don’t be. Men will be men. If they are dating be happy for them for whatever reason. Don’t let their happy lives make yours dark and gloomy. One thing I learned from Mr. Hill’s books is that loving and appreciating yourself is enough, not judging and looking at others for their short comings. Hill has MANY female friends of all colors. No need to jump down the brothas throat.
3. To those who don’t understand WHY black women are so angry. Understand first that in 1966, 84% of black children were being raised in 2 parent homes compared to only 33% in 2006. 70% of professional educated BLACK women have yet to be married compared to already over 50% marriages END in divorce. (Louisiana, Haiti and many, many other situations). Finally, we live in an age where people are free to select their own partners in life and love. People have learned to look beyond the ‘color of ones skin’ and instead has ventured into the ‘character’ the person presents to them.
