Nothing wrong with the house or a little weed, dam living in New York, I can't complain. But, and I'm threading carefully here not to judge knowing MTO if true with the money laundering that would be too bad that she would get caught up in some mess like this cause she hasn't been out with nothing lately, money does not last forever if not been replenished.

But I don't agree that there should be any confusion about where she got the money to buy the place. She has sold a lot of records and she's been in some movies, so why shouldn't she be able to afford her own mansion?
Speaking of the mansion..that mansion is on the ghetto side. I don't have a mansion but I do keep my property up. Weed killer don't cost that dang much, Eve.
From past experience, I can honestly say that when an artist begins to make money, without a financier to help guide them in the realization of their purchases and what is going to be a long lasting decision for their betterment, they are literally throwing money to the winds. Eve, unfortunately, may have found herself in a very different place and unable to maintain as she should have. She made more money from her movies than anything else, but in MY OPINION, did not use wise counsel to help her maintain her place within her financial reasoning. I feel so badly for these folks but because I studied and learned from MOTOWN (thank GOD!!!), I learned how to manage and keep my finances, build upon my dreams, and stay away from poverty and still be in a position to help others in need. Wise counsel and using wisdom and common sense protects you from these tangible evils.
What a shame. I hope she learns her lesson: Only buy housing that you can comfortably afford! Part of the pressure of being a celebrity is that you feel compelled to living up to the "bling bling" lifestyle that is prevalent throughout Hollywood. If you live within your means, and not try to live up to other people's expectations of you, you will never be in debt. Normal people adhere to this principle. I don't see why it should be any different for celebrities.

EVE doesn't own this home she just leases it. I know because I went to the OPEN HOUSE this Sunday. You can buy it for under $2.3 mil OR the owner will lease it to you for $15k per month(with a 2 year lease). ITA unfortunately there are some black people who suffer from extreme low self-esteem. They look to white people for validation. But I feel for @RealRoxanne though.
