It’s a match made in championship history. Former Superbowl Champ Aaron Ross of the NY Giants and Olympic Gold Medalist in Track and Field Sanya Richards tied the knot recently in Austin, TX.
The couple married the weekend of Sanya’s 25th birthday–February 26th. The deets on the wedding and guest list: The 500 person lavish and simply beautiful reception went down at the Four Seasons Austin. It was all one big party –wedding reception and Sanya’s b-day bash hosted by Fonzworth Bentley, and with Ryan Leslie and Dorrough performing.
Their sporty celeb friends Roy Williams of the Dallas Cowboys, Corey Webster, Ahmad Bradshaw, Michael Johnson and many more for the New York Giants, track legend Carl Lewis, as well as others.
The two tweeted about their honeymoon in Dubai. Their wedding will air on an upcoming episode of “Platinum Weddings” (anybody else addicted to Wedding Sundays on the We channel?).

The beautiful bride was married in St Pucci Couture and donned over $1 million of jewelry, including her 10 carat VVS wedding rings and accessories from jeweler Martin Katz. She changed into a gold sequined Kevan Hall gown, and then changed again into a short Ines DiSanto dress to celebrate her b-day. The Groom handsomely rocked a custom Giorgio Armani tux for his big day. Congrats to the Newlyweds!

Beautiful wedding and love that wedding cake that has so many tiers I can't even count them all draped in edible flowers. Simply Lovely! I wish that people would be more aware of their facial expressions at wedding functions, because her brides maids may be mistaken of not being completely thrilled for Aaron and Sanya the way their faces are twisted up in the background of the bride, but black love is beautiful and when it's rich it's even more beautiful.
