: Over the weekend, MediaTakeOut.com reported that Tony Yayo was arrested for assaulting the 14 year old son of Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond. Speculation is that Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson may have ordered the assault on the teen.
With the battle for the streets of New York gearing up, 50 Cent appears to have called in the reinforcements. MediaTakeOut.com spoke to a New York Police Department insider who tells us that 50 Cent and Tony Yayo have beefed up security since the incident. According to the insider, 50 Cent has told police that he is doubling the size of his security force. Our source explained, "[50 Cent] has the legal right to hire personal protection ... so long as the people that [50 Cent and Tony Yayo] hire are professional security guards, we don't have a problem with that."
And 50 may have reason to ratchet up his security. That's because before Jimmy Henchman became a successful business man, he was a notorious gangster. And insiders fear that supporters of 50 Cent and supporters of Jimmy Henchman are setting up for a battle that could turn the city of New York into a war zone.
It's not clear whether Jimmy Henchman intends to increase his security force as well.
