Yesterday, Nicole was in NY at a Steve Harvey event. And according to a MediaTakeOut.com snitch she "told everyone to call her Mrs Kodjoe - because she changed her name."
Why is that strange. Well because the couple has been married for 5 years and have two children (the last one was born 4 years ago.
So then why is she changing her name ALL OF A SUDDEN????

Sorry, MTO, its not strange, its legal! Sadly your writers are too simple minded and messy to research the fact that many celebrities do this. I'm still curious as to how and why this would mean that their marriage is on the rocks. It certainly wasn't the case (nor was it reported here) when Heidi Klum or Sarah Michelle Geller did it many babies and years after their marriages. Ummm she is married to Boris KODJOE sooo it is only natural for her to want to be called Mrs. Kodjoe. Some women are very attached to their maiden name and want to keep it , maybe now she is ready to let it go. If anything this signals to me that their marriage has become STRONGER and now she feels ready to use his last name publically. That's not true MTO check your facts a lonngggg time ago Boris did a interview with wendy williams and he adressed his wife's last name and said on her drivers liscence it says nicki kodjoe sooooooo she has been using his name for a while. It just so happens she may have legally changed it, but leave them alone!
Maybe because people don't associate her WITH Boris Kodjoe enough. Translation: women are still hitting on Boris because they don't realize he's married. By changing her name to KODJOE it may help to ease the situation. It doesn't mean they are headed for doom/disaster. If having a child that requires special care hasn't torn them apart I doubt a name-change portends a breakup.
