The show as a whole was weak. All those performers needed pitch pipes cuz most of them were sounding off key or straining too hard.

I think that Jay used to rough up Beyonce some times and just grab her arm all hard...but he calmed down, especially after he witnessed the big deal it was when Chris went overboard with beating on Rih that time, which wasn't his first. It was just too brutal and public to hide that time, but I'm sure that Jay has put his hands on Beyonce in an abusive way in the past. Now he's got her trained and he just has to give her the "LOOK", no hitting or roughing up necessary any more. She knows what not to do.

So Jay, Bey, and Rih, are God now? You can stand behind your artist and still support BET. They should have looked at the BIGGER picture and what BET supports as a whole (Haiti, save the child, etc)!!!! I'm glad BET gave Chris Brown a chance to perform.
