Just so people understand - HIV doesn't discriminate like people. So just because someone is FINE, Handsome, pretty or has a nice shape or body - doesn't mean they are immune to HIV. I have found that 'some' not 'all' Black men prefer non-Black women these days. I pose this question: Does this indicate that the Black male has a lack of respect for the Black female? Does this mean that he in fact has idenity issues with his own race? Does this mean that he in fact feels inferior and prefers a non-Black woman to validate who he is? What ever happened to dating or marrying a person that just so happen to be of a different race? I also find that 'some' non-Black women feel as though they are the most desired race of women to Black men--due to 'some' Black men perpetuting this
If ‘some’ Black men are putting down Black women, aren’t they putting down their mothers, sisters, and female family members? Are non-Black women i.e., Anglo-Saxon and Latino women possessing a sense of ethnocentrism and arrogance with this misconception that they are desired by ‘all’ Black men? If the Latino and European women are putting down the Black woman the same as putting down their sisters and mothers since we are all women? Why does the Black woman continue to be persecuted by ‘some’ of these misguided people? Why does she continue to rise and be strong and rise above the ashes?
Some Black men prefer Caucasian or non-Black women. The Caucasian woman or non-Black woman sometimes voices the opinion that she is somehow 'better' than the Black woman, and unfortunatley, the Black man agrees. I ask you to define 'better'. What makes a person 'better' over the next person? If it's based on race, this is an exterior and superficial trait with no measurement. Problem is, when 'some' people say they are 'better', we have others that agree. This is a fallacy.
