After reading some racist comments from Chinese people, I feel greatly ashamed!! I'm a Chinese woman from Beijing and I don't understand why some CHinese are racist toward black people. We were once looked down opon by white people, how can we be racist to other races?? I am dating an African American man and he's a very nice, humorous and well-educated man. My family was angry at first but they finally said nothing because my cousin met my boyfriend and she said my boyfriend acted like a Harvard guy. I was born and raised in Beijing and my whole family is well-educated. I'm not an Asian trash as I am currently a student in U of Illinois. My father is a professional director and he made a lot of advertisements on TV. Also, both of my parents graduated from prestigious universities in China.
