I guess we have a different definition of weaves, I include hair extensions and stuff like that. When sistas get braids, they do add extensions to aid in the braiding( i get alot of amo from sistas I work with about this and the "struggles" of their hair) Let me break it down to you. I am more into the physical aspect of a woman more so then hair. I know that in the black community, hair is an important aspect in our culture. I have dated sistas with locs, euro wanting hair, umm and the lo lo cuts like jada use to have, actually once. I personally know of sistas who have fake asses(I venture to stripclubs and have a friend who works there and she tells me this lol). I never thought sistas actually buy fake asses but they do.

Women in general will always have some issues with their body. Some choose to deal with it in a way that lessens their beauty. You are born beautiful, you become ugly by listening to what society says. Powers that be will tell you (and in some cases force you) to believe what is and isnt beautiful.
