The baby is gorgeous, and she's now in what appears to be a good home. Kristen Davis seems to be a very sweet, down to earth person and she wanted to be a mom. This baby is now wanted and loved...win/win situation anybody who says otherwise is a moron. There are plenty of babies of all races who are waiting to be adopted, love has no color. If a parent or parents of any color adopts any of them and is a good person I see absolutely no problem with it, period.
White America is sumtin else. First it was Asian and Russian babies, now BLACK KIDS ARE IN VOGUE. I'm glad though. Plus, Charlotte seems like she would be a FABULOUS mom.
How come they can't tell which black babies in the adoption nursery will be cute though?.................. am I the only one thinking that only Madonna adopted some cute black kids?

Let's see......Either you're gonna have a family-less child (black or white) who will most likely have a difficult upbringing and turnout unproductive or you can have a child raised in a home with all the basic provisions, love and more. The smart people are not asking why white celebrities are adopting black babies. They are asking why young black girls and boys are not acting more responsibly to avoid unwanted babies. Alternatively they are asking why black men are not there to be the pillar in the home so that young black men and black women do not have to end up creating unwanted (black) babies.
That's right MTO. You can't be mad at White folks for taking in children that were unwanted by their own Black parents. Better to be with a nice White mom who looks different from her than to be with a Black family / mother who is unfit. Sad, but reality. Nothing is wrong with anybody adopting anybody, regardless of color, as long as it's a good home. Good for them both.
I just hope that these children will be loved and well taken care of by all parties involved I am all for black children finding loving and nurturing homes no matter what race the family is,but unfortunately it seems like a Hollywood trend it's like black babies are the new Tea Cup Dogs some kind of ornament that makes them cool and current. I hope I'm wrong,but I'm just saying sure seems that way...
Good for her!! The vaste majority of these children (world wide) are not even orphans!! One or both parents are still alive and for some reason they just can't get their shyt right and raise their own kids (drug addiction, poverty, teenage parenthood, no birth control, both parents in jail, etc.). So they give their kids away or the kids have to be taken away. And if someone's there to adopt these unwanted kids to give them a better live instead of a life in a foster care that's a good thing. If you are not dead/deathly ill there's no reason for you to give your kids away. And the sad thing is most of them are REPEATERS anyway. Just give them like 20 months and they will have another child at the state's charge. I hope she's a good mother to that little cute girl. That's the only thing that matters.

Yet blacks rarely if ever adopt a child unless it happens to be a family member or something. Black people shut the hell up because all you do is complain about how you are tired of seeing whites adopt black babies but I don't see any of your dumb asses standing in line to adopt the many black kids who are abused or who are in foster care. I applaud white people for stepping up and doing something I RARELY ever see black folks doing. Even black celebrities DO NOT adopt black babies/kids in need. So shut the hell up and be glad someone is willing to make better lives for our kids because black people trifling asses sure are not!

In any event, how about showing as much disdain for the black athletes, rappers, and such who have 5-10 kids with several groupies instead of adopting these available black babies- since they obviously want kids all over the damn place. Then again the baby's financial future wouldn't be secure because rapper and athele daddy is spending the money on rims, gold chains with matching teeth, and groupies.
Besides, adoption agencies aren't damn Burger Kings where it's made your way... you don't go in and special order babies. Just because your first thought is skin color does not mean that it was her first thought. The only people I ever hear constantly bringing up color ..... oh nevermind. What's the use? If you want your minds in one area, let them stay there.
