At least that's what a person claiming to be an insider is saying on VH1's very own message board. The most explosive allegation that the poster made is that both New York and Sister Patterson are actresses - and that the two are not even related. The poster also claims that New York used to work as an exotic dancer. Here's the shocking post:

I'm really not surprised. Sister Patterson and her 7 head really got on my nerves during FOL and ILNY. Come to think of it NY favors her (so-called) father and why was he M.I.A for that whole show? There is semi-truth to this story. "Chamo," her personal assistant and "best friend," is actually actor Mauricio Sanchez who was in the movie "Date Movie." So, I can believe that there are some aspects that are completely for the show, but Sister Patterson and New York do bear some resemblance. Unfortunately... Yuck. Well, I don't know if this is true or not. I see already where people here are so quick to believe B.S. without establishing facts first. This is the same site that brought you the whole "Deelishis from Flavor Of Love is pregnant." Then they had to change that up when Deelishis said she wasn't pregnant. I don't think that is true. Simply because it is something that is so easily verified. If she was lying about her name, and she is really Kenya Simmons, then after the names were revealed on FOL1, trust as many people as there are that dislike her, someone would have jumped at the chance to out her. There probably is a "little" truth to this story - New York or Kenya or Tiffany or whoever she is does actually have some (a lot) of resemblence to the man that "PLAYED" her father? of Flavor of Love - I personally think that is her real father - what his occupation is - I don't know?

I believe this story is FALSE!!! I belive the poster (I forget which one, there are over 200 comments here!) who said that Sister Patterson used to be an airline stewardess, because Sister Patterson USED to be a flight attendant for the now defunct Independance Air. I work for Continental Express, and she was in the same interview as my best friend (we are both flight attendants for Continental Express).
