Doctors said the rare case, the second one in Brazil this year, was actually conjoined twins sharing the same body. Scans have showed they share one heart and the majority of organs. The babies, named Jesus and Emanuel, have been deemed healthy and stable, and the 23-year-old mother breastfed both of them.
The birth took place in Anajas, on an island in the northern state of Para. Aerial pictures of the small town are included.
This is not anything new. Google Abigail & Brittany Hensel; they're 19 year old cojoined twins who are living life. One of them is even getting married this year. Did I say one? Well one half..no pun intended.
