This is the reality of Miss Manuela story. She was a fan who set her goals on meeting (and catching) Prince. Every hard core fan at that time knew he was in a bad situation with his first wife as they had just lost a baby. Manuela knew Prince weakness for beautiful, young, skinny woman and took what she had and used it to catch him. In which she was successful. She caught Prince at a very vulnerable time in his life and his wife at the time grieving over the death of her and Prince child is the one who suffered twice in a *** period of time. So this Manuela is nothing but a social climber who can easily be detected in Hollywood. Nobody wants Eric Benet and nobody wants Manuela. She took what ever she can get to stay in the Hollywood scene. She will always be known ONLY for being "Prince ex" and one day "Erics Ex", and THATS ALL! Look at the woman? This girl was a die hard fan who purposely left her family in Toronto to move to Minneapolis to try to get near Prince. She used to buy bootlegs from online fansites of Prince.
When Prince's marraige was failing, she moved in on Prince. Prince and her were messing around while he was technically still married to Mayte. Manuela faked her interest in being a Jehova Witness so he thought not only is she a good trophy wife but someone he can be spiritual with.
After being married to him for five years she figured she had nothing to lose by leaving because she can live the fame life off his money even after getting a divorce.
She's no longer a Witness by the way...go figure. It was all fake.
