Your comments are interesting. However, you talk about Def Jam is scared of Rihanna taking a break...what about Beyonce? She has produced something (solo and/or Destiny's Child) every year since 2000 and the quality of her work reflects this fact (its decreasing). Plus, people are tired of her and its showing in her album sales, Internet blogs, and single sales/air play. I love Beyonce, but B'Day bummed me out...its time for her to take a LONG holiday.

I always said B'Day went over ppl's heads but it did go 3 times Platinum and (5 Mill WorldWide) and that is good for an industry that has had a slow year in sales and Irreplaceable was the biggest single this year.
