: MediaTakeOut.com has learned that syndicated radio host Steve Harvey and his girlfriend, Marjorie Bridges have decided to jump the broom. The two, who have been dating now for more than a year, announced their engagement Monday night.
This will be Marjorie's third marriage. Hopefully her marriage with Steve will turn out better than her first two. That's because MediaTakeOut.com has learned that both of her previous marriages ended when her ex-husbands were sent to prison for dealing drugs. Her first husband is currently serving life in prison and her second husband is set to stand trial this fall.
And this will be Steve's third marriage. He has three children from his first two marriages - one son and twin daughters.
I guess I didn't get that last memo about Steve cause I could have sworn that Steve was still happily married with his second wife.
But I can be supportive and wish them luck but be real now....the chick been married twice BOTH times to a drug dealer and Steve have been married twice and who knows what split them up. I say, stop lying in front of the minister and just shack up cause I only see divorce court in the future.
Steve is a well educated man, his radio show is always on point and he stay selling out shows. I'm sure if he has decided to get married AGAIN, then hopefully he has learned from his previous martial mistakes and not make them again. Steve is 2 old to b with a gold digger, i'm sure he can spot them a mile away.
I've dated a slinger, and was raised around slingers... my first love, highschool sweetheart was a serious one and he is dead, died at 23, the other one is serving 30 years in prison...but he didnt' go for drugs, how odd huh? and my family just in and out of jail...
but i'm from the hood but I'm not a hood chick... there's a major difference and folks trust me there are alot of slingers that are born and raised in the suburbs, and who wears suits, please don't believe the hype they all come from the hood and wear baggy jeans... that will be naive...

I have dated alot of drug dealers and I have found a good hard working man. So that makes me a hood rat? Don't think so, my first love is in jail for life for drugs and I still write to him, he is a good person he just got caught out there. This is her business and if Steve dont mind dating her and getting married to her , good for them. But dag, this will be like his 3rd marriage so he might want to slow down a bit.

This morning when I was listening to Steve, he didn't mentioned whether he's engaged or even in a relationship, however he did mentioned when people talk about his kids or the woman in his life, how it effects him and he got a problem with it. I am sure he knows all about this woman past relationship and it's his choice whether to stay around or leave. He's an OG so I'm sure he recognize game when he sees it. Plus his big bodyguard aint having her ex stepping to Steve. And if she was involved with ex drug dealers, that don't mean she was slinging it with them. I'm sure she has something going on for herself otherwise Steve won't give her the time of day.
Now as to the other question about dating drug dealers...Yes I have been with numerous ones, my first love of seven years was one, and at the age of 20, he was *** and killed right in front of my eyes. I said I wouldn't ever date another one after going through the experience I went through but I did. I came from the hood, born and raised in the projects, but that don't define who I am as a person nor the person you get involved with, define you it's all just part of a learning experience and growing up. Besides do you know how many millionaires were from the hood and projects? Plenty..

For some time now I have suspected that MTO was created by Wendy Williams, mostly due to the terminology that is used (cat trap - how you doing etc) and the fact that she reads a lot of MTO stories on her show. If she and her camp are behind MTO then she needs to be ashamed of herself outing one of her colleagues.

I know either you got some dirt hidden or someone close to you do, so for all of you saying "oh drug dealers this, drug dealers that", if you've never experienced either being one or being with someone that was, then *** up with that sterotype ***. Yar probably hear the stories but don't actually know the facts about drug dealers, most of them are not killers (at least the ones that I dealt with in the past weren't). The majority get in the game at an early age, cause they parents can't afford to get them the *** they see others rock'*** in the street. Once they get a taste of that fast cash, it's hard to give it up. But to say they are killers, that's just a sterotype, they only become killers when someone tries to put they hands in the cookie jar.
i don't undertand why her previous drug dealing ex-husbands have anything to do with steve marrying her. that just means they have something in common. they both are twice divorced. he has kids from his previous marriages, so what?

i like the steve's morning show too. it isn't all that funny to me, but it's better than the alternative we have here. to me, nephew tommy is the funniest person on the show. i'm so sick of carla's fake, forced laughs and shirley is just not entertaining at all.

I didn't even know he was divorced from his first wife. Steve is not the best looking brother but i do wish his luck. MTO insist that he needs to watch his step with this one, I'm pretty sure steve has done his home work on this lady, and smart and country as he is I'm also pretty sure if he felt he was in any danger he wouldn't be with this woman. Now whatever happens among his way of knowing then he probably would need to step back and give this marriage a little bit more time. I just want to know how the hell MTO knows that her ex-husbands are in jail and on trial??? It's not like this woman or her two exes are famous or anything. But in this day and age you can google anyone and get all kinds of information. Needless to say Steve Harvey might be country but he is not a fool, this woman will no doubt sign a prenup if they are really in fact getting married......

Now I don't know if she's been waiting on him to get a divorce or vice versa, but the point is, she's not just some chick that he stumbled upon. He been knew her.

Drug Dealers sale drugs and drugs kill people so yes drug dealers are killers. Drugs slowly kill drug users, their family and friends lives. They also kill innocent people driving on the street.
But people change and mature so NO you cannot hold people's past against them forever especially if they are trying to change for the better.
