: Mario fans are going to have to wait a little longer for his third studio album. That's because MediatakeOut.com has learned that his latest album Go! which was scheduled to hit stores on July 31st, has been pushed back. The new release date is set for August 21st.
Why the push back, you ask... Tells one of MediaTakeOut.com's confidential informants inside of J Records, "The first single [entitled, How Do I Breathe] didn't generate the excitement that we'd hoped. We'll be releasing his second single Kryptonite, in the next week or so. If that doesn't work, then we'll postpone [the album] indefinitely and start over from scratch."
This latest postponement will make the fourth time the album was delayed in the past year. It was first scheduled to be released on November 28, 2006. It was then pushed back to April 4, 2007. Then again to May 8, 2007, and again to July 31, 2007.

Well i feel J records, when i first heard (how do i breath) I was like "what the hell is this" naw Mario baby you gotta come with something better than this.....he gotta give the people what they want it's too much competition among the young male r&b artist's for him to be slipping.....Go back and try it again
Record companies feel that if the album is not right, they are not going to release it. It's just as simple as that. No record company wants to drop a dud, they always want their artist's albums to be the one to generate revenue, so if a single isn't hot then they take a look at the whole album again and decide if the material on it is up to par.

I dont know how true this is, but his single is doing pretty well..they play is a lot on NY radio stations and its number one on the 106 and Park countdown..so I dont know if thats the reason theyre delaying the album..I think they want to wait for Ne-Yos album to be out for a while before they put out Marios so theres less competition..Mario is no slouch so people shouldnt sleep on him..hes definitely talented..J Records is known for having "creative differences" with their artists..even Kelly Clarkson who has sold millions of records had to delay her record and cancel her tour due to poor ticket sales..something isnt right over at that label
thats true but the article said his song wasnt creating the "excitement" that they thought it would..so they werent really relying on billboard numbers, mainly fan support..no one really buys albums and singles these days anyway..so it must be tough for people like Mario who have talent but who have to hustle harder than the average artist and get little support from their label who spend most of their time and money on big name artists
