: LOS ANGELES -- (AP) The wife of comedian Wayne Brady has filed for divorce. Mandie Brady cites "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for ending their marriage, according to court documents filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court. She is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their 4-year-old daughter, Maile.
The couple wed in 1999, but separated in April 2006, the papers said.
A message left after business hours Tuesday with the comedian's publicist was not immediately returned.
Wayne Brady, 35, won two Daytime Emmy awards for hosting "The Wayne Brady Show." He has also won an Emmy Award for his performance on the improvisational comedy game show "Whose Line Is It Anyway?"

I want to know every time there is a mixed, biracial, white, or light child pictured on this site they are labeled "gorgeous", "beautiful" or "pretty". Not every child that is light, bright, or *** near white is beautiful. That little girl is not that cute, so relax.
Also, that's what he gets. Now she'll get regular checks from him until that girl becomes an adult. That's what they do, marry our brothers w/ money then divorce them before the money runs out and take it back to their communities. When will brothers learn. I always liked Wayne Brady. He seems like a very classy dude and carries himself like a gentleman on television. He definately is talented as well (showed great comedic chops on Chappelle's Show, as well with his improv stuff).
This is unfortunate....They always seemed like a nice couple, and their daughter is beautiful. Too bad they couldn't work it out.
Also, talking about grown folks is one thing, but some of you all are dead wrong for talking about those people's child like that!
I am not surprised at all, that's what happens when you "make that transition". They stay with you long enough to get that marital requirement, give you a child,file for divorce then they live happily ever after with your money and a new man. A typical marriage that last more than 5 years, you're automatically entitled to half of the money, if a pre-nup wasn't signed.
I like Wayne Brady, he is very funny, hopefully he'll find a new gig and cross back over to the dark meat.

Well, go back into the vault, look at Chris Rock's "Roll With the New" video (or listen to the cd), and check his "Black People vs. N*ggas" act....Pretty much lays it out...I love black people..Positive, intelligent, classy black people...Ignorant azz n*ggaz...not so much...And there is a difference, which is why I use the word at times..
I call a number of women on these threads attractive. Last I checked Beyonce, Rhianna, J-Lo and Sanaa weren't white. Just because I also acknowledge that (*shock and amazement*) women who aren't black can actually be attractive too doesn't make your assertions true. And it hits the point that I have made many times....Not everyone is caught up on race in everything. An attractive woman is an attractive woman...white, black, asian or otherwise.
As for the Chappelle Show thing...There was a TEAM of writers on that show...As I am sure you know, writing a show is a collaborative process...Therefore, when Dave threw his hissy fit, I am sure it was aimed at more than Wayne. Even if Wayne was part of the group, reality is, they have different styles of comedy. Wayne is more of the Cosby/Sinbad school...I don't think clean comedy has to be coonish (corny? matter of opinion), just because it's not the edgier type.

He has plenty of money because he is a very talented individual and works constantly. I pray that this unfortunate divorce will not hurt this child and her parents, that love will remain in these people's lives. I'm glad that I am blessed that I have eyes to see Brady's wonderful talents that God has given him. I admire both these people for their culture and race. Parting ways is hard on any one and everyone. We are all a part of each other. I pray at some point, all would relize this and all can live in peace, love, happiness.
