I love Run's wife, I want my wife to be like that if my broke a** ever gets one. She's so sweet and beautiful and the absolute perfect mother. Those girls are so fine and the boys are respectful young gents. I grew up on Run Dmc so it's kinda crazy for me to see a dude I used to try to be like all grown up with a family like the Cosby's that's crazy but it's cool though.

I wanted to write about an issue that has had little to no media coverage despite the severity of its injustice. I'm talking about the blatant racism being displayed in Jena, LA where 6 boys ranging in age from 15 to 17 are facing up to 100 years in jail EACH. Wondering why you haven't heard about this? Well, so did I. Of course the national media hasn't covered the issue because CNN is too busy watching the every step of Paris Hilton and FOX is too busy pinning Barack Obama into a corner. Let me give you some background information, At a high school in Jena, LA, a freshman asked permission to sit under a tree which is normally occupied by white students. The fact that he had to ask permission is a completely different issue, but anyway -- Permission was granted to the freshman only to find that the next day 3 nooses were hanging from the tree. The students who hung the nooses were given 3 days suspension. After that, several black student protested peacefully by standing under the tree together. The principal called the police on them, and later that same day held an assembly where the D.A., accompanied by armed guards, said to the protesters that he could "end their lives with a stroke of a pen." In the weeks that followed, a black student was beaten at a "white" party & a white student pulled a gun on 3 black students at a gas station -- The boys wrestled the gun away and they called the police, instead of trying to find the perpetrator, the black students were the ones that got arrested & ended up being changed with stealing the gun (Yes, the same gun that was pulled on THEM at the gas station). In both cases the white students got slaps on the wrists. All of this led up to a fight where 6 black students jumped a white student in school. The boys were arrested on ATTEMPTED MURDER charges with bail starting at $70,000. Two of the young men have not been able to make bail and are sitting in jail as you are reading this. The D.A. made it clear with an open letter to the newspaper that "WHEN [the boys] are found guilty, [he] will seek the maximum punishment."
In 2007, this is what we are dealing with, 6 kids who are being unlawfully charged and nobody is doing anything to stop it. Where are our black leaders? Al Sharpton keeps preaching about injustice but here is a case where he has a chance to REALLY make a difference and he is crusading against a gossip website that called Beyonce a "ho". I love Beyonce, but there are BIGGER issues than her.

I have to agree with tinytexasdiamond..I was concerned about Aoki too..lol..the youngest boy is a brat, I think its because hes the baby but his lil tantrums and acting all crazy-Justine needs to get into that behind! but it seems like this family is close..the 3 older kids seem to think of Justine as their mom which is cool..its not always easy to blend families
Awwwwwwwwwww that is real cute. But those girls Aoki and Ming are spoiled and a little wild. I remember I was watchin Kimora's show and one of the gurls put her diamond necklace in some oatmeal. I would have bet her ass. It wasn't like it was fake or anything. And Diggy is spoiled too. Rev. spendin all that money on a childs suite when he knows he is gonna out grow it in a few months anyways.

I never really got into the Runs House show much in the past other than an episode here and there that I would occassionally catch.However they seem like a pretty cool and well grounded family from what I have seen. I think Ill try to watch the show more often maybe. Its just so interesting to see Run from RunD MC as a father figure and role model for his children when we are so used to seeing him as a member of legendary rap group. His wife and he seem to have a nice relationship to. I was watching the other day and crackign up when his wife told him that she wanted him to ask was it pItbull ( what s taht producer) to produce a track for her,lol! I didnt even know she sang!

And as for Ms. Kimora she has her own billion dollar company, her own t.v show,Hello Kitty Jewery that some people on this site can't afford & lets not forget about who she married. Nice family pics and I think that they are positive role models for today's generation. There was only a couple of things I didn't agree with on the show - that episode where Rev Run gave Russy money to buy new clothes to teach him the value of having his own money and to teach him that if he brought his own clothes, he would take better care of them. Instead he brought a Nintendo with the money. They didn't punish him or anything other than make him take out the garbage. If anything they should have made him take the game back to the store and get the money back, if they wanted to teach him a lesson.
Also what reverend parties at a club with alcohol and plays music that has profanity in the lyrics? That's what happened when Justine held Rev Run's surprize birthday party at a club...come on, either you gonna be real with professing for faith or you're just being hypocritical...
OKAY LET'S JUST SAY THAT I THOUGHT THAT RUNS FAMILY WAS WELL ROUNDED. YES THEY HAVE CHILDREN AND THEIR CHILDREN ARE REGULAR AND DOREGULAR THINGS.
