Beyonce's latest album B Day has been plagued with problems. It's received terrible reviews from industry experts, and radio stations have been less than excited about her first two singles. Now that the album is in stores, the public seems to have weighed in. Despite our early reports, it now appears that Beyonce's latest album is poised for success.

Hitsdailydouble.com is projecting that B Day will sell more than 600,000 albums in the first week - which would give it the second best first week sales all year.

This is particularly amazing since the album is already widely available for free on the internet. Last week, dozens of websites popped up offering downloads of the album for free. And when MediaTakeOut.com visited a popular file sharing site yesterday, we found more than 1000 users that were willing to "share" the B Day album, free of charge.

And the effect of the internet leaks was seen yesterday on BET's 106 & Park. During the show, Beyonce played "brand new" tracks from her album to the largely teenage audience. But the audience shocked the sexy songstress by singing the songs word-for-word. Beyonce, surprised by the audience's knowledge, turned to host Terrence J and said, "how do they already know the words." Terrence J looked smugly at the bootylicious diva and replied, "it looks like they've been on the internet."
