SHAWTY LO OF D4L ADDRESSES HIV+ RUMORS

March 27, 2006. Rumors have been circulating about Carlos "Shawty Lo" Walker of the hip-hop group D4L. Last week during The Ms. Jones In The Morning Radio Show, Walker addressed the rumors.

The first rumor that has been circulating was that Walker was profiled on America's Most Wanted. After initially dodging the issue, Walker admitted to being one of the criminals profiled on the television program. According to Walker, he was wanted for cocaine trafficking. The rapper refused, however, to tell the audience whether he was convicted of the crime or whether he served any jail time as a result of it. [link to audio]

The second and more explosive rumor is that Walker is HIV positive and has been intentionally spreading the virus to women. Walker claimed that this rumor has been circulating for nearly 8 years and that it is completely false. He explained that the only disease he is suffering from is diabetes. [link to audio]
