The repug won in NJ because in the incimbent Dem gov. had a constantly had over 50% disapproval rating. That result really shouldn't have surprised anyone considering his unpoparlarity. In Va the Dem candidate really wasn't that appealing from what I reading leading up to elcection day. The biggest reason for these results is the low voter turnout, which was probably expected. When voter turnout is low repubs win, when its high dems win. That's the reason for the repubs voter suppression tactics.
Just because two states elected Republicans doesn't mean anything. Corzine was unpopular in New Jersey and Virginia isn't a solid Democratic state.
When Bush was president, he started two wars, one which he lied about. He played on people's fears and and spied on Americans, he had a secret energy task force that caused Enron, 5 dollar a gallon gas in California, rolling blackouts that killed elderly people. Its no worse with one sexuality than it is with others. We live in a country with a 50% divorce rate, most of which are due to infidelity.Being promiscuous in general is very dangerous and could have you paying a very serious price, with your life or health. It seems that what you're doing is stereotyping. We as a people know a lot about that. Any research on homosexuals will show that homosexual men have significantly higher infidelity rates within their relationships and the majority believe it is ok to have sex with other men while in a relationship with a man. The average rate of life for a homosexual man is SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the average man. Homosexuality cannot produce life, it can only take it away.

You're going by what some study claims to have found. I'm going by what I see in everyday life. I'm talking reality. Studies, like polls can be easliy manipulated. Look at the studies that are posted on MTO on any given. They're always negative towards us as a people. Those studies also claim that our (black people) life expectency is less than other races. I look at the source of things like this before running with it. Those links you provided above, where do they stand as far as homosexuality is concerned? That might shine a little light on how the result was reached.

1suav, whether an organization is pro or anti, the statistics are statistics. most homosexuals even admit that beliefs about fidelity within the homosexual community vary vastly from heterosexuals. and the statistics may be bad for a group of people, but odds are they're probably correct; whether we want to believe them or not is up to the individual. blacks do die quicker because of unhealthy eating and the acceptance of being "thick" in our community...you dont have to even see a study to know that.

When a group does a study/poll, their viewpint does matter. I'd like to know if they went into it with a biased point of view. And the result could've manipulated to confirm their viewpoint. Since you didn't answer, I can pretty much guess where you fall on the issue. You could ask some heterosexuals, espcially men, how many sexual parners they currently have and they'd gladly tell you. Some women may tell you as well. Notice I did say 'partners' with an 's'. Promiscuity is not limited to one group, we're all guilty of that.
1suav, obviously I know straight people can be promiscuous, what i'm saying is that the level of exclusivity within homosexual relationships is far higher. i don't know any reputable study that shows gay men are just as faithful or exclusive as straight men. who is to say polygamy isnt going to be the next list of marriage demands. as long as theres a propaganda machine to normalize it and a lobby for it, it will soon be just as accepted if we change the definition.
and then anything can happen. ppl say now 'there's no way a person can be able to marry anyone/anything' but as long as you get enough propaganda/effort/lobbyists behind a sexual lifestyle (which homosexuality is) there is no telling what will be "normal" if there are not a set of rules around what ppl consider the best for society, in terms of families and defining marriage.
