i don't care what your political affiliations are but i don't see how anyone, could have seen obama's speech to the nation yesterday and not conclude that something is deeply flawed with this man. he was cold and dispassionate. he spoke for two and a half minutes, at the beginning about an unrelated matter, including ghetto "shout outs" and light laughter before he offered condolences. there is no excuse. people complain when bush didn't want to frighten school children on 9/11 but this man had hours to prepare an appropriate response. open your eyes people.
Barnbrat, I didn't even bother listening to him. What bothers me is that the suspect DIDN'T WANT TO BE SHIPPED TO IRAQ OR AFGHANASTAN. He was a psychiatrist who had heard war stories from soldiers who had been over there. IT LETS YOU KNOW HOW BAD THINGS ARE OVER THERE. Now Obama is responsible for 12 deaths and 30 people injured. Yet he's laughing and cracking jokes. He's probably planning another vacation. THAT MAN IS THE WORST PRESIDENT EVER.

I agree with malletdiva that how is Obama responsible for these deaths. I like old stormzoey state her opinions, but this time she is way off. This war was started even before Obama was even on the campaign trail. I guess every president that had a war going on during their presidency is responsible for the deaths....Kennedy, Lincoln, Washington, Clinton.....the list goes on.

No one can blame Obama or Bush for what happened. He was a Muslim soldier and his religion trumped his duty. I spent 8 years in the Army, my last duty station was Fort Hood, and I am waiting to find out the names of the victims.
Yes, Obama's words were cold, but since he has no personal ties to any of them and they are his distant subordinates I see (though I don't understand) his lack of empathy.
And just so you know, WMDs are made from numerous components, all of which were located in Iraq "compounds". There are pictures and data to be found if you look hard enough.
I wish we would get out of Iraq, but its not going to happen anytime soon. (If Iraq ever gets on its feet the value of their money will skyrocket and my 4.75 mil Iraqi Dinar will make me a very happy woman!)
