I watched that show and it didn't offend me in anyway. I'm a black women myself and the photo shoot was done with class and dignity. She was actually teaching the girls the meaning of "hapa" what how the different cultures come together to make babies and the looks of the different types of cultures when they are combined. Sometimes the media puts there own spin on things to spark controversy but the shoot was very harmless.
who thought this was blackface? smh. I saw the episode and as african-american women, I was not all offended. It's ashame that the media only reports what it wants to report, to keep things stirred up. It't even become more magnified about how the media reports things to me, since President Obama has been elected president.
WTH?! Who got offended?! I saw this episode and I didn't even think anything about it being "racist" or anything like that .. I actually liked that photoshoot.
And it's not like it was some white person who just decided to put black faces on models just for nothing .. Tyra - a black woman, did it and it wasn't even really "black face" .. and it wasn't a trashy shoot or anything like that, psht.
I wouldn't have apologized ! For what? They were doing a shoot of all ethnic backgrounds and that in no way can be considered black face. Nothing was sam-bo-ish about it. People are just overly sensitive and want something to cry about anyway since they are tired of crying over their own miserable lives. Do It Again TYRA !!!
