I don't like having to say this, but I feel that's the time you have to fight back!....Momma or not!...Beat her like the stranger she's being!...Beat her off you and run away!..That would have given her time to realize what COULD have happened,Coz you could always apologize and ask for forgiveness later!...But now what?... she's dead,momma's going to prison, and Daddy's finna Flip ANYWAY!...Family's just GONE!..smh....
Militarywife so true. There's more missing to this story. Some people write off mothers like they are automatically drafted into sainthood just because they gave birth to a child. My mother has NPD (Narcisstic Personality Disorder) and she was bitterly jealous of me and verbally and emotionally abusive. I have not seen nor heard from her in 10 years and when people have asked her why she has no relationship with me, she lies and tell them that 'I'm disrespectful'. When asked how, she gets mad at the person because as far as she's concerned her word is truth because she's the 'mother'.

This is what happens when the law says you can't be a parent and discipline your child. Parents have been walking a fine line, either your not parenting enough or your beating them to death out of frustration. Parenting is the hardest job in this world and the blessings that GOD granted you should not result in murder; it's never the answer.
There are different kind of "Mothers" out there. You have Mothers who speak and the house is quiet becoz she just TALKS..You have Mothers that give Proper corporal punishments...(Open hand)..you have Mothers that are mental..and they go from one personality to another.Some that Hit W/throw ANYTHING!.Some that verbally abuse..the list goes on and on.This mother did NOT just up and kill her becoz of back talk. I think she was upset at the fact that the girl was not in the house with her anymore,being able to come and go freely and by her(mother) always being in control, she just couldn't let go.
I grew up with my dad saying things to me like 'I brought you into this world, and I will take you out.' He was obviously old school. I used to hear stories of him and his siblings getting it with extension cords etc. I never liked that statement he would make. Threatening or killing a child for disrespecting is a parenting cop out. No child's life deserves to be taken because of something like that. The girl was grown and she should not have had to explain her comings and goings. I understand she is still someone's child but we are raised to be independent, have our own thoughts, and opinions. Once we get to a certain age, at that point, we also deserve respect.
As a teen (19), I speak on behalf of us saying that we should be more respectful towards our parents, even those of us who have unfit parents. But parents need to practise self-control also. Parents are supposed to be the older ones who know better, so even when the teen is talking reckless, a parent should be able to handle the situation better than that.
@Doll-11 Yeah it is very hard to be around those type of people. You literally cannot even have a decent conversation with them, they are constantly looking for ways to jab at you with insults to put you down and 'remind' you that you are inferior with them and it makes you want to strangle them!. You are constantly walking on eggshells and they are constantly throwing them at your feet and when you step on them they get mad. From what I understand as they get older they get worse. We'll see who takes care of her in her senior years, it won't be me.
That saying I brought you into this world and I will take you out...Ok! Now her azz will be locked up husband will find a new woman and tell all her business....Daughter dead how stupid...There are ways she could of handle that 18 means you grown and could get the heck out and do you...I would of talk to her and if we could of not come to a form understand then she would of been done...Killing is not the solution to any problem ....
