A good actor/actress does their research Beyonce should have met with Etta before doing this movie and why didn't the producers or directors plan the meeting , Beyonce should have took itupon herself to meet with Etta just like Jamie Foxx did with Ray Charles and he won an Oscar for that , he had Ray downpacked , but I just got nothing but an angry drugee from Beyonce she did not have any character in that movie that was believable good acting she did have but not Etta.

Beyonces renidition of At Last was very nice , but she ruined I'd rather go blind. Etta was very spicy yet smooth not loud and screechy.

I never said that Beyonce was not a good actress , but I think she should have consulted with Etta the lady you know the lady she PORTRAYED! Not only out of respect but to also get the part she is playing right. I wanted het to be oscar worthy but that was lacking worthiness , she did do an o.***. job actualy she did an superb job it could have been better had she met with Etta to get the personality and her ways downpacked. Now if I were to be an actress and portray a living legend I most definitely would consult with them any good actress would. And I actually can act and thats a fact.
