LIKE I SAID, I HAVE NEVER LIVED IN A HOUSING PROJECT BUT HAVE KNOWN MANY PEOPLE AND HAD MANY FRIENDS THAT DID LIVE IN ONE . ONE THING I DID NOTICE WAS MOST HALLWAYS IN THE PROJECTS SMELL THE SAME(strange) it is like a very intense urine smell...real intense too!

It was Cabrini Green in Chicago they tore em down. Magnolia Projects in New Orleans. Pork *** beans in Miami. Lil Vietnam in Atl. Bowen homes is soft.

Those projects have ***, rapes, roberries.....Seriously...I been there and its bad.

Most of em in the Chi are torn down now... Cabrini Green still got some buildings left..Robert Taylor Homes- RIP...Stateway Gardens- RIP...The Dearborn Homes...The Ickes...Rockwell Gardens- RIP...The Hornets...Ida B Wells...Jeffrey Manor....ABLA Homes

And what I am saying is, with my EYES, in the projects, I have seen roaches, but I didn't see and was not exposed to the rest. Therefore, I don't know or can't say what is the worst projects. I am sure gangbanging, etc are in those areas. But I can't say for sure because I wasn't exposed to all that. This post is about rhe WORST projects, I haven't seen the worst projects according to the description, that Tiffany gave. I'm from Boston and there are some gutters this way...and I might have thought we had some bad ones up until I was old enough to travel. All I can say is that back in the 90s, I was in Harlem, couldn't tell where exactly, but I was SCARED out of my mind walking around. It was broad day light & was like "GET ME OUTTA HERE".

I haven't been to too many project buildings, but the ones that I've seen in NY made the Boston slums look like condo living.

I'm sure there are worse...just haven't been to 'em. I heard Detroit is worse that NY. Don't know though...
